Sales Engineer (Automation Engineering) – Team Leader

We are currently hiring for a client in the industrial automation sector to support business growth in Medan.

Job Type: Contract (6 months, performance-based review)
Work Location: Medan, North Sumatera
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (08.30 – 17.30)

Job Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and lead a sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide regular feedback to management.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales activities with overall business goals.
• Improve sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation / Automation / related fields).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial automation or engineering solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to drive and hold a valid SIM A.
• Willing to travel regionally.
• Mandarin or Hokkien language skills are an advantage.

License/Certification:
