WE ARE HIRING: Curriculum & Program Innovation Lead (Design & Creative Media)
Raffles Jakarta is seeking a visionary Curriculum & Program Innovation Lead to spearhead the structural development and modernization of our academic programs across our Design & Creative Arts cluster.
We need a curriculum architect: someone who respects institutional and regulatory boundaries, yet possesses the commercial agility and creative foresight to engineer programs with clear, compelling USPs. In this role, you will design the blueprints, project briefs, and industry-aligned frameworks that define how design is taught and practiced at our institution.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Curriculum & Syllabus Architecture: Formulate, restructure, and update comprehensive syllabi, module descriptors, and studio briefs across design disciplines to integrate current global industry workflows, tools, and practices.
* Project-Based Learning & Framework Design: Develop and standardize hands-on frameworks, defining project-based learning models, real-world scenario briefs, and portfolio grading rubrics tailored for industry readiness.
* Formulating Program USPs: Identify commercial and industry gaps to craft distinct value propositions for each design program, ensuring academic offerings remain competitive and highly attractive to prospective students.
* Regulatory-Compliant Innovation: Innovatively embed emerging creative topics, market trends, and interdisciplinary practices within existing curriculum parameters and regulatory limits.
* Classroom Delivery & Prototyping: Teach select studio modules to pilot, test, and refine newly developed curriculum frameworks firsthand before scaling them across departments.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Education: Minimum Master’s Degree (S2) in Design, Visual Communication, Interior, Fashion, Digital Arts, or a closely related creative field.
The 'Pracademic' Profile: Proven dual background, experience both professional design practice paired with lecturing experience.
Curriculum Development Expertise: Tangible track record of developing or restructuring syllabi, creative briefs, learning outcomes, and assessment rubrics for higher education.
Collaborative Change Driver: Clear, persuasive communication skills to present curriculum logic and transition new structural frameworks smoothly into departmental operations.
