As we expand our services internationally, we are seeking a highly organized and driven Remote HR Executive and Coordinator to support tutor recruitment, tutor-student matching, and customer enquiries through our online portal.

You will work directly with our leadership team and high-performing educators in a fast-growing international education environment.

Role Overview

The HR Executive and Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the company’s expansion, growing and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified tutors. A robust tutor network is critical to ensuring that students can be matched quickly with high-quality educators as well as drive our upcoming tutor matching portal.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently, to ensure a strong HR pipeline and successful tutoring and mentoring engagements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Tutor Recruitment & Network Growth (Business Development)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a steady pipeline of tutor applications through job advertisements, online platforms, and outreach initiatives.
  • Post and manage tutor recruitment listings on relevant job boards, education platforms, and social media channels.
  • Screen tutor applications and review qualifications, academic background, and teaching experience.
  • Conduct initial interviews with prospective tutors to assess subject competency, communication skills, and suitability for the platform.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new tutors, including profile creation, credential verification, and portal registration.
  • Maintain a diverse and high-quality tutor pool across multiple subjects, curricula (IGCSE, IB, etc.), and levels.
  • Monitor tutor supply and demand trends to ensure adequate tutor availability for new student enquiries.
  • Work closely with management to expand the tutor network strategically as the company grows internationally.

2. Tutor Portal Management

  • Update tutor profiles, qualifications, and availability within the online portal.
  • Upload new tutor registrations and maintain accurate tutor databases.
  • Monitor incoming enquiries and ensure prompt responses.
  • Review tutoring enquiries from parents and students through the company portal.
  • Identify suitable tutors based on subject expertise, experience, availability, and client requirements.
  • Contact and coordinate with tutors regarding assignment opportunities.
  • Arrange introductions and confirm first lessons between tutors and clients.
  • Follow up with both parties to ensure lessons commence successfully.
  • Maintain accurate records of assignments and tutor placements.
  • Provide clear and professional information about tutoring services and programs.
  • Guide clients in selecting appropriate tutors or academic services.

Compensation

Requirements

  • Experience in HR, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in tutoring agencies, education companies, or customer support
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, or workflow tools (Notion, Word, Excel, Airtable, , AI tools, website wordpress maintenance)
  • Experience managing multiple client requests simultaneously
