Job Description:

As a Cruise Director with Sea Safari Cruises, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable diving experience. Your leadership, dive expertise, and customer service skills will be instrumental in creating a positive and fulfilling journey for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all diving activities during the cruise, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.
• Conduct dive briefings and debriefings, providing clear instructions on dive plans, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Guide underwater excursions, showcasing the unique marine life and underwater attractions at various dive sites.
• Oversee and maintain dive equipment to ensure its proper functionality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the dive team, boat crew, and other staff to create a seamless guest experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest questions and concerns while exceeding their expectations.
• Assist guests with dive gear setup, rental, and maintenance.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all diving regulations and standards.
• Handle emergency situations and first-aid responses as needed.
• Promote environmental awareness and responsible diving practices.
• Document and report all dive activities, including guest logbooks and dive site profiles.
• Participate in evening entertainment and social activities to engage with guests and enhance their overall experience.
• Contribute to the overall success of Sea Safari Cruises by embodying our commitment to excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Dive Master or Instructor (e.g., PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc.).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in leading dives and dive tours.
• Strong knowledge of dive equipment and maintenance.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong passion for diving and the marine environment.
• Ability to work in remote, marine, and challenging conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental conservation.
