The Hub Specialist will support Operations in Sorong, acting as a key operational anchor for inbound, outbound, and inventory activities within the hub.

How you create impact

• Manage and execute end-to-end inbound, outbound, and inventory control for the Sorong project hub.
• Oversee daily hub activities including:
  • Cargo receiving
  • Yard operations (including breakbulk cargo in the junk yard)
  • Documentation flow
  • Storage planning and handling
• Ensure vendor performance meets operational and safety expectations.
• Support cross-dock operations and ensure smooth cargo flow through the hub.
• Monitor vessel-related activity,
• Maintain real-time updates for cargo status, stock levels, and operational reports.
• Verify vendor documentation, completion of checklists, and timely submission of required records.
• Ensure all hub processes comply with quality standards.
• Serve as a key liaison between operations, vendors, trucking partners, and internal customers.
• Represent professionally onsite, maintaining strong oversight of vendor performance and behavior.
• Work closely with internal teams on planning, scheduling, service expectations, and performance updates.

What we would like you to bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marine Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Shorebase or hub operations
  • Oil & Gas warehousing
  • Vendor/contractor supervision
  • Marine logistics support
• Experience handling Oil & Gas logistics is mandatory.
• Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience in warehousing or yard operations, particularly in O&G environments.
  • Strong command of logistics systems
  • Solid understanding of cargo documentation, hub processes, and material handling workflow.
• Personal Attributes
  • Able to maintain authority in vendor-dominant environments
  • Confident, assertive, and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly resilient, independent, and able to work under pressure in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across vendors, internal ops, and clients.
