We are on the lookout for a Sales Support Administrator to be based in Waratah. Reporting directly to our Sales Account Manager, this role will work within our highly talented Rail products sales team. This role is a 6 to 9 month Full-Time Maternity Relief position and is critical to the ongoing success of the team. Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Produce weekly reports for customers analysis and planning purposes
  • Analysis / review of forecast accuracy and other forecast drivers for customers
  • Attending and actively participating in Cross-Functional Meetings
  • System maintenance through sales analysis
  • Liaising with planning and logistics team to support and plan production and shipments
  • Liaising with Quality Assurance team to generate and prepare customer quality assurance requirements
  • Accessing customer portals to order and raise invoices
  • Marketing merchandise management
  • Co-ordinating transfers of product depot to depot
  • Making travel arrangements for the Sales Team
  • Handling telephone sales and email enquiries
  • Providing accurate and competitive quotes to customers and potential customers
  • Actively supporting other members of the team as required
  • Supporting Accounts Receivable to follow up customer payments and address any invoice discrepancies

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in office administration
  • Superior customer service skills and excellent communication
  • A high level of proficiency in MS office, including sales enquiries email inbox and SharePoint and PoewerBI capabilities
  • Experience using a large ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to raise purchase requisitions, good receipt invoices, provide customer POD’s, sales orders, invoicing and generate end of month customer reports
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities and identify and deal with issues as they arise
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise with a high attention to detail
