About the role

We're looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Medan team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.

You will be responsible for driving business growth, generating new leads, building strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is confident in building relationships, negotiating with partners, and taking ownership of revenue growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, partnerships, or a related role
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Based in Medan area (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Strong experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management
• Experience developing and maintaining business partnerships and strategic relationships
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Confident in approaching new clients, partners, organisations, and potential business opportunities
• Strong understanding of sales processes, sales pipelines, and business development strategies
• Target-driven, proactive, and highly motivated to achieve results
• Able to work independently and take ownership of business development activities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Experience managing or mentoring a sales team is a plus
• Experience in the education, international education, migration, recruitment, or service industry is a plus
• Existing connections with schools, universities, student organisations, education agents, or other potential partners is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve company revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential markets
• Generate new leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, events, direct outreach, and other channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, organisations, and other stakeholders
• Develop and manage partnerships with schools, universities, student organisations, education agents, and other relevant organisations
• Conduct meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business discussions with potential clients and partners
• Manage the sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up with leads and business opportunities
• Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, revenue, and other relevant KPIs
• Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management
• Develop proposals, partnership opportunities, and business presentations when required
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for business growth
• Work closely with the marketing and education teams to support lead generation and conversion
• Attend and represent the company at seminars, education fairs, networking events, exhibitions, and partnership events
• Support and guide sales team members to achieve individual and team targets when required
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to sales team members when required
• Maintain professional relationships with existing clients and partners to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Ensure all sales and business development activities are conducted professionally and in line with company values

Location : On-Site. RACC Indonesia office, Jl. Komplek Cemara Asri, Jalan Boulevard Timur,

Number 8 MM, Medan, North Sumatra

Pay : Range from Rp. 10.000.000 - Rp. 12.000.000 (depending on experience) plus commission

Work Hours : 08:00 - 17:00 WIB (an hour lunch break)
