Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Department (HoD) / Teacher / Curriculum Head to lead academic excellence while actively engaging in teaching. Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching Responsibilities

2. Curriculum Development & Implementation

  • Oversee the design and refinement of the curriculum to align with international standards and the school's educational vision.

  • Implement differentiated instruction strategies to support diverse learners.
  • Integrate research-backed, innovative teaching methodologies into the curriculum.

3. Academic Leadership & Teacher Mentorship

  • Provide mentorship, training, and classroom support for teachers within the department.
  • Conduct lesson observations, offer constructive feedback, and help teachers enhance their instructional methods.
  • Lead professional development initiatives to keep the team updated on best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative teaching environment, encouraging shared learning and peer support.

4. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring

5. Collaboration with Leadership & School Development

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Subject Specialization, or Curriculum Development.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or curriculum development role.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong classroom teaching skills with a student-centered approach.
  • Expertise in curriculum design and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities to support fellow educators.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for transforming education and fostering holistic student growth.

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Experience in delivering Cambridge, IB, or other international curricula.
  • Familiarity with progressive education models and non-traditional assessment methods.
  • Experience in school accreditation processes or international education standards.
